Personal Injury Claim
A personal injury claim can arise in many different ways these can include road traffic accidents, slips or trips, accidents at work, medical negligence cases, injuries caused by animals, accidents on someone else’s premises, sports accidents or accidents where you have been attacked by someone else. These are the main ways that personal injury can occur but people can of course be injured in many other ways that will mean that they entitled to claim compensation.
In all types of personal injury claim it is necessary to show that the accident was at least partly somebody else’s fault. Even if you were partly to blame for the accident you may still be able to claim. The party responsible for your accident can be an individual but it can also be a partnership, a council, a company, a government department etc. In some cases it is easy to identify who is to blame e.g. where a car drives into the back of your car. In other cases it may be more difficult to identify who is to blame and this is just one of the things that we will be able to help you with.
If you are successful in your claim then the compensation that you receive can include damages for your pain and suffering, any out of pocket expenses that you have incurred such as loss of earnings and damages for any permanent disability that you have. There are many other things that you may be able to claim for and this is one of the things that we will be able to advise you about.
